Lift Solutions

PML Construction completed the framing, drywall, and ceiling scopes on the new Lift Solutions Headquarters, working alongside Hausmann Construction. The project combined a prefabricated exterior wall envelope with a showpiece interior — including suspended wood baffle ceilings and acoustic clouds in the lobby — making it both a production job and a finish job at the same time.

Inside, the lobby and main spaces feature a layered ceiling system designed to balance acoustics with high-end finish work. PML installed:

• Zintra wood baffle ceilings in Claro Walnut — both the bundled “stick” arrangements and box baffles — providing acoustic absorption with a warm, architectural look.
• G&S Serenade acoustic clouds in the lobby, custom painted to spec.
• Standard suspended acoustical panel ceilings with Armstrong Ultima High NRC tile throughout the typical office areas.

Each system has its own suspension requirements, perimeter trim details, and coordination demands — clouds and baffles need to land cleanly against the surrounding drywall ceilings, with mechanical, lighting, and sprinkler heads laid out around them. The result is a ceiling plane that reads as a designed feature rather than utility infrastructure.

Other Scope Highlights

PML also delivered the gypsum shaft wall assemblies, interior metal framing and drywall throughout, slotted deflection track at all wall heads, and drywall grid suspension for the large-span ceilings — providing a complete envelope-to-finish package on a single contract.
