PML Construction completed the interior framing, drywall, and acoustical scope for the new Oasis at Lauritzen Gardens, partnering with general contractor Kiewit Building Group. The under-5,000-square-foot building serves as a visitor amenity within the gardens, providing restroom facilities and a concessions and rest area for guests exploring the grounds.
Despite its compact footprint, the project featured custom acoustical work as a defining element — specialty acoustical sound panels and acoustical wall systems engineered to manage sound in a high-traffic public space. Our team executed metal stud framing, hung and finished drywall, and installed acoustical ceiling systems alongside these specialty finishes, delivering a clean, durable interior built for daily public use.
Working inside an active botanical garden required careful coordination with Kiewit and the broader project team to minimize disruption to visitors while delivering the precision finish work the space demanded.
